This picture of the swan is one of my favorites because it is another spur of the moment where I took a quick picture and it came out great. This photo was actually taken the same morning as my ‘Fire in the Sky’ picture. The swan in the picture had just come swam up the creek and when I noticed it, I got a little closer to the water and snapped a quick picture. Luckily, the swan turned its head when I took the photo so I was able to capture it in a good position. If I was to go back and adjust this picture I might have brought out some more color in the sky but I would be careful not to go overboard with it because I would want to keep that very calm and peaceful feel that it has right now. I also like the ripple in the water created by the swan because it creates movement and makes the photo look more realistic.
